soon to be unemployed and startto get social welfare. If I want to start a business at what point do I lose dole. In other words If I sell something and make €1 profit and never sell an items again do i lose everything. Do u have the opportunity to find out if a biz is feasible before u lose everything? I've asked an enterprise board rep this and they didnt know. Waiting on a reply (weeks) from social welfare dept

you should enquire about back to enterprise allowance - although this may be for people who are over a certain time unemployed.

have you searched the welfare.ie website in case it's mentioned there?
