    Read in yesterday's Times that Tiger declined to play a practice round with McIlroy prior to the Masters starting which Mark O'Meara reckoned should be taken as a compliment by McIlroy.

    Any thought?

    he's dead right it would have been bad for both of them. Huge attention on it and neither would have been able to focus on getting the proper preparation in. Tw'ud've been crazy

    Yeah I agree too, every fan on the course would have followed them.

    Also, the curly ones driving would have put Woods to shame.

    lot of pressure and attention growing around rory
    no signs yet that this will take from his performance, but i hope it doesn't

    It's a pity that the Matchplay a few weeks back didn't give us a Rory Vs Tiger game - that would have been great viewing....
