Convert People Carrier to Crewcab ?

Anyone know what’s involved in converting a people carrier to a crew cab .
I am thinking of the likes of Kia Sedona , Mitsubishi Delica . Its it just the case of

Taking out the third row of seat
Welding in a bulkhead behind the second row of seats
Installing a false floor at the back
Blacking out the rear windows .
Welding up the seatbelt anchor point at the rear .

If I import a people carrier from the UK is it the case that I just don’t clear
it till the conversion is complete ?.

Can anything be converted to a crewcab once it complies with the 45/65% rule ?

    Thanks

No can do. The like of the Sedona only met Revenue regulations for crecabs until June 2003 without having to pay VRT. But I have to ask the question , what in the name of JAAAAZUUS would you be going to the UK for a Sedona let alone to crew cab it. They are every where here for buttons now both as a car and a crewcab

Will people please stop presuming cars are cheaper in the UK without doing their homework. I'd say you can knock another grand or more of all the above prices with a little barter ;)

Thanks for that . Looking for something that will tow my toys , economical ( I do 30k mile per year )
Seat min of 4 and have space in the back for the dogs . This seems to fit the bill . Your right on the
Irish v’s UK prices . Don’t think you would beat these prices in the UK . Force of habit always
have bought in the UK in the past .

    Regards
