    very enjoyable track...tough if windy..

    It's a nice course.

However watch out for the last two holes.

The 17th and 18th are sneaky links holes and nothing like the rest of the course. The 17th into the wind is a very hard hole (par 3). The 18th is also tricky in the wind as it's a tight fairway (it's a shorter hole than it looks so it's ok to take an iron off the tee).

Yeah, a good course for the price. Some of the holes are a bit repetitive. The last 2 holes are a good challenge.

Not a bad course - watch out for the par three up near the hotel...very easy to cant one oura town !Check it out before you start !!

Excellent Greens..agree with other posters re last two holes- decidly tricky.

Course a bit bland due to space limitations...suffers from cash flow constraints as well IMO.

    Best of luck !

Has improved an awful lot in the last few years,a relation of mine is the Manager down there.Tip on the 9th par5 don't go past the pin as there is a huge slope on the green that you will only realise when you are standing on it.The 10th is better to hit an iron 5 wood from the tee because there is little advantage driving over the water. On 17 par3 very small green with loads of humps i usualy punch a 3 or 4 iron low depending on wind,18th is driveable but just like 17 left is on the beach.Enjoy the day, what pro are you with?

9th........I hit a good drive and a good 2nd shot.......I then watched the ball roll back down the fairway into a bunker and rest against the lip (very unfair).

The 10th was fun. I hit a great drive over the water (who wants to lay up).

ah hes the assistant pro in my club..Karól Crowe is the name ..Should be good craic..

Are you playing in it??..If so, I assume the rules are The Pro score counts every hole and one of the 3 juniors counts every hole??

No bud but might pop down to have a look.I have played a lot of pro ams and it's the two best scores on the hole that coun no matter who has them, your pro will have his own singles tournament also.

Also the 12th is a tricky hole, I always hit it left but you must keep it right as the left side is out of bounds.

Also agree with previous posters about the 17th & 18th.

Just the course layout in the picture below.

    Good news..

It was stableford and our handicaps were in play..

89 points after day 1,,We are 1 point behind leaders,,

    Leading pro is +2

We were playing off the yellow tees so every Par 5 was reachable and the last hole was also reachable..Oh ya, the 17th tee shot is the most daunting one I have ever seen for a Par 3 lol

The weather was perfect with the obvious sea breeze but other than that perfect

    22 teams are in it

87 points for the second round..

Lost by a point overall :( sickened...

Didnt stay for presentation because we thought we wouldnt get anything for it etc and were very tired driving up and down both days.

Worst thing was on 18th hole (9th for us) we only got 1 fúcking point :(

Found out on way home the 4 of us won loadsa Taylormade stuff - Golf Bag, towels, balls, hats etc so were pretty pleased..Drove to back ofthe 18th hole (our 9th) today with 3 wood and 3 putted from 20 feet, that hurt.

A good experience overall..Twas good fun..Thanks lads for the info on the course :)
