Any grounds for an appeal?

    Just wondering.
I was playing in an U14 feile match earlier on.In the last minute the other team got a 65 and put it over giving them a 1 point victory. The 2 issues I have are i)The umpire signaled wide.
ii)THE 65 was taken on the 45 line.
Is there any grounds for an appeal?

I understand where you're coming from. I think this has happened to most GAA players at least once. It is extremely difficult to appeal this sort of thing as the referee's decision for right or wrong is generally final. You'll find that tournament organisers don't want to undermine the authority of referees as it creates a precedent. Next thing every team will be appealling every decision.

My advice would be to get on with it and try not to be in a position next time where a point will make a difference. ;)
