Recommend USB wifi adapter for G4 Mac mini

I have a G4 Mac mini, one of the earliest models. It has no wireless network feature and gets very little use at present.

I'd like to turn it into a media centre - on the cheap.

Can anyone recommend me a cheap, cheerful USB wireless adapter ? I'd prefer one that's known to work with the G4 mini.
The room in question is close enough to the wireless router to pick up a strong signal ... but running an ethernet cable would be tricky.

It's running Tiger ... 10.4.6

I tried something similar - it was based on the Zydas ZD 1211 and used it on my G4 mac mini for a year or so. it worked but wasn't all that stable, sometimes it would drop signal and need a reboot to get it back. Might work better for you though.

In the end I got a cheap wifi access point on ebay, put OpenWrt on it and configured it as a wireless client/bridge. then I could just plug my mac mini into it via ethernet. rock solid ...

Nice find amcc. Your other suggestion is probably the best as the USB solution is dodgy at best. I managed to get a D-Link DWL-G122 (RALink RT2500 chipset) to work on an early iBook but it was down as often as it was working.
