If the asking price of a car is, for example is €8000, what would be the max i would be expecting to pay for it, or offer. what kinda percentages off the asking price are people getting off cars these days??

Every other reply to this question (comes up like twice a week) states this is the wrong way to look at it.. so of course this is no different. Compare it to its peers and make an offer based on that. Knocking arbitrary percentages off asking prices is moronic, the seller could just withdraw the advert and put it up later with 30% added on then offer you an "amazing" 35% reduction on account of your awesome bargaining skills.

There is no "current climate" discount on €8k. Everything is dependent on what the car is and if similar cars are selling.

...and the price may have already been "climate adjusted" in the first place :D
