    The standard UK/Irish Keyboard has a lot of wasted empty keys

    These are "dead keys"   (A S D F G H J  #or ~ using Shift Control)

    The next letter is accented, or if not possible, 
    the accent is printed in front. 
    DeadKey + space gives character.
    &#208; &#240; &#248; &#216; &#352; &#353; &#382; or &#381; are all selected by

    AltGr <space bar> is binding space
    Shift AltGr = is soft hyphen 
    

    Meant for XP/Vista/Win7

    Not sure if it works on Win2K /NT4.0

    Built using version 1.4 of Microsofts keyboard layout editor.

    You may need to go to Control Panel > Regional & Language Options > Languages > Details > Select Euro-Netbook as default keyboard

    If you download the free MSKLC.exe ver 1.4 from Microsoft you can load this and edit layout to suit French, USA, German etc keyboards.

    p q r are audio controls to a program I have if it detects that Shift & Control is active

    ALL keyboards ALT + Control = AltGr (handy if you need a AltGr 4 for € and its missing)

    Tried that, just crashes my computer when I press AltGr and any charachter.

    Which version of Windows?
    Service Pack?
    What Keyboard?

    Tis odd considering it's made by the tool MS used to make Vista Keyboard layouts.


    *** UPDATE ***

    Iv'e removed the download for now, pending more testing, especially using Shift Control as Function Key.
