While Latin is a JC/LC subject it is a minority subject so would not be of much use to you in the majority of schools. So realistically you would only have French as a teaching subject. Most teachers applying for jobs have two teaching subjects and most teachers are recruited to teach two subjects.

    Oh right

I wasnt gonna learn Latin to teach Latin, I just thought it would help with French

The 2 French teachers in my school only thought french

But maybe I wont do Latin if I dont need to

They are plenty of teachers who are qualified in 2 subjects but only teach one because they are not needed to teach the other one. I'm qualified to teach biology, ag science and chemistry yet I've never taught biology since I left college.
