    hi Guys,

    I install Ubuntu 8.10 and need some help.

    My wireless network does not show up but all my Neighbour do.

    It also work fine on vista (dual boot).

    I tried to set it up has hidden work and does not connect.

    Any advices ?

    My apology, did not get the usual email notification

    I have a intel wifi link 5100

    it does see other networks but not mine, I tried to connect manually and does not work.

    If pluged with cat5 it is fine.

    is your network on a higher channel like 13
    do you have it set to only g ?

    Have you tried changing your wireless settings on the router? It might be a good idea to restore the router to its factory defaults and then go from there, especially since you are seeing other networks...
