    hello,

I Desperately need some tutorials on TAS BOOKS, OR a Demo version of the software. Something to help me familiarise myself with it.

I can't find any Demo software or tutorials online, and need some fast.

    Please Help Me !!!

Many thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.

Do you intend to purchase the software or do you need it for a new role at work?

    Hi,

Give Sage Ireland a call, they now own Tas . They may send you a demo copy. When I first started using it , I did not require the "un block" key until 1000 transactions. That may not be the case now.

    Good luck with it

I need a copy to practice with before the exams get here. The accounting module that I'm doing has only recently switched from manual to computerised accounting.

We're using Tas Books 2 at college, and there's limited class time left to learn my way around it. Also, I'm not able to use the college computers outside class time, due to transport issues.

I've been looking for a trial version, an E-Book, or even a tutorial for some time now, but as the exams are drawing closer - I'm getting worried that I may not be able to find anything to help me.

By the way, I must also apologise for the somewhat demanding tone of my previous post - that's not how I usually ask for help, but I'm just getting quite desperate now.

Thanks again for any help you can offer me

TAS used allow you download the software for a trial period.
The irish site is down at the moment so I cannot check.
Keep an eye on the site - free trials may still be available.
You could always ask about student licensing - they like to catch you early and hopefully hold onto you so maybe they do something for students.

Thanks Boardswalker - I wasn't aware that Tas had an Irish website.

I downloaded the installation from their website, and E-mailed the support address to get a password for the installation.

It's all installed and running smoothly now.

The trial period should be enough to get me up to speed with it.

Thanks again for all your help.

I presume you've already spotted it, but there's a dummy company in the software already that you can mess around with.

Also take a look in the help for keyboard shortcuts if you haven't come across them already (things like alt-331 etc). Getting used to the more common menus really helps save time.
