    Hi, im new and frustrated!!
I had a Sky installer around yesterday to upgrade from sky to sky+, well he did that....but previously we had all our 8 aerial channels working with the regular sky and now we are without ITV, I called sky about it and they were no help. Has anyone encountered this problem??
    thanks

In order to get sky+ you require a second feed for box, so how did the installer bring the second cable in?

In order to get the Utv bbc3 channels etc it is easy to add them

Do so by doing the following

    Press Services
    Press 4 on System setup
Press 4 again to add channels

    Now type in the following

    10906
    Vertical
    22000
    5/6
    Then press select
now highlight the channel you want an a tick will appear, tick any more you want and then press select to save,

    Other freqencys you will need

    10758
    Vertical
    22000
    5/6

    10773
    Horizontal
    22000
    5/6

    11954
    Horizontal
    27500
    2/3

Thanks for that, but unfortunately the problem is with the kitchen tv, where we do not have sky only the terrestrial channels. it was fine before we upgraded and now itv aint working.
Regarding the installation he just ran the second cable along the outside of the house and drilled thru the wall into the back of the box.

If he ran extra lead, there should be no any problem with reception in the kitchen, at least if you have distribution system behind your main tele and he disconnect some cable whitout knowing about it. PM me I might help.

He may have the Sky box RF output set the same as the ITV channel. You could check this out also.

Where does the Kitchen aerial get fed from?
Is it where the Sky box is now?
If so then it is likely that the Sky's RF modulator has interefered with it, what channel was your old non + Sky box on? I would suggest changing it to that.
