Creative writing group.

Hey good people of boards.
Myself and a fellow boards member are thinking of setting up a creative prose writing group to help critique each others work.
We wish to see what interest there would be in this.
For the time being, we are not looking for poets, just literary prose, short-story writers, playwights and budding novelists. However as the group grows, we would like to include poets, so do not hesitate in contacting me.
The group would be based in Dublin city centre.

I'm interested in this- depending on the time of the meetings. I work in Dublin.There was another one of these creative writing groups threads on here somewwhere, but I nothing came of it.

Iam based in Johannesburg and iam almost half way in completing my first book and also involved with a charity organisation in Ireland online and i hope it will be fine for me to contribute online?

i am so interested! i have been looking for a group for ages! unfortunatly i am residing in tipperary so i am out of the equation.:( also wondering if any you guys know if there is a group in tipp or even clonmel? or where icould find out if one exists? would be fantastic if ye did!:D

hi , i know there is a group in Clonmel ,will try to find out where it meets but i think if you enquire in the arts centre they will be able to tell you - or the library

hi Ichecked tahat out for you ,-the Cluain meala writers group meets in South Tipperary Arts Centre , Clonmel so if you give the Arts Centre a ring they should be able to give you more details . best of luck , Pauline

You should check out the poetry Ireland forum if your looking for writers groups, they are mostly poets on that forum but that doesn't mean the groups wont be mixed.
