Hi folks, new to all this but would like to get a satellite system. Just wondering what is the best to get for in terms of amounts and variety of channels. i dont mind paying extra if i get get a good package.

Probably Sky+HD for the sheer number of English language programmes and the ability to record/time-shift. If you speak other languages then the answer might be different.
