Does anyone know anything about this problem?? My daughter, who lives in uk, had to install Symantec on her laptop as part of a pacage for work and now wants to get rid of it but can't. She gets to a point on "add and remove" where it asks for a password. She has gone online and found that this password is the word "symantec" but that didn't work. She would like an easier solution than reformatting the hard drive if possible. I said I would ask on here as I have not yet put forwad a problem that hasn't been solved by the "boarders". :)

    Thanks in advance

password shoud be symantec, the IT department where she works could have changed the password, you will probably need to contact them or symantec directly...
i'm sure another boardie has the answer, symantec allways worked for me, touch wood...
