Where can I get large bikini halterneck (not underwire) top and small bottoms in Dub?

    Hi,

just wonder if someone could help me - am looking for a non-underwire bikini top in a 34E/F/G but which has a separate bottom of a size 8 in Dublin. Trying for a baby at the moment so do not like underwire. Also if it was in halterneck that would be preferable (as I think that it looks nicer). Would be willing to use maternity bikinis if such things exist. Thanks!

    try next maybe?
although all the bigger sized tops tend to be underwired unless you want to just get a size. i always feel far safer with an underwired one!

if they dont have it in the shop you can order it online & collect in shop :)

You should get one in marks or next :)

Dunnes Stores have a selection of swimwear where you can buy the tops and bottoms seperate, I got a black polka dot halter neck top and short like bottoms for less than a tenner last week!

Debenhams have a lovely selection of bikini's seperates. I need a larger bottom than top  so always buy there. The Matthew Williamson and Jasper Conran ones are particularly good quality. They aren't cheap, but Debs always have sales on at the moment, so you might hit on them with 20% off.

    Thanks everyone, will investigate :D
In terms of not wanting underwire it is just that we lost a baby 3 months ago but my body still feels pregnant (and I hope that I may be again) so underwire do not feel the nicest (and M & S do not advise them in pregnant women), being hopeful!

You were not to know, sorry about that. My boobs did get a bit bigger (DD to a G though they are in between at the moment) though which is great :D, it just means that all my clothes do not fit though...

I got a lovely bikini in BTs a few years ago but it cost an arm and a leg...will be dragging himself shopping soon!

Do you mind buying online? If not www.bravissimo.com always have a few halterneck styles without underwire in them. I always try and buy bikini tops in black if im stuck for cash, (damn my big boobs costing me a fortune and back ache!), and buy the bottoms in pennys!

    Just for example.....

Cathy, I'm the same, big on top (34E ish) but 10-12 bottoms....nightmare!! Ive found debanams to be great, they have mix and match, tops about 30 which isnt too bad and they have loads of styles! Also, have you thought about buying the more expensive top then just matching them with the bottoms from Dunnes or Penneys? I did that last summer...bought a few tops in different colours and bottoms from penneys to match....no way was i spending 50euro on a bikini when my friends are getting the 8euro sets in penneys!! (Speaking of those sets....I will pay any size 16 girl 100euro if she can fit herself into those bikini tops...as if!!)

New Look did a great range by kelly brooke about two years ago but they didnt have them last year so i dont know what the story will be this year, but keep an eye out all the same!

Othe rthan that, marks always do a good range, but i find their styles a bit old fashioned and dated...debanhams much fresher looking!

Thanks. Hmm, you just got me thinking - (mods please delete if inappropriate) - what size would I be on top now (34E/F/G)? The bikini that I got in BT's was gorgeous but it was so expensive, I cant justify that any more (I think that it was over 100 pounds  it was that long ago).

Honestly, you're looking at 18+ dress size....at least. They just dont make size 14s and 16s big enough....in new look i was a 22!! Now i am not a size 22 but its just what ya have to do!! Try on the sizes first to see whats best...also, keep an eye out for the halters that tie at the back and at the top!! Little gems, as you can tie them as tight as you want for full support!! :D
