    Hi,

Ive got this little problem. I'm in college right (DIT) now and just about 3 months ago i quit my job because they told us that well be getting a job lacement with decent wage (yea right...) and due to this crap economy I got an unpaid internship working with people doing their PhD's and projects.
Finding a job at this time is close to impossible for obvious reasons .So I was wondering could i go on social welfare? And if so, how abouts should i do it? I mean does it count that I'm kinda going to college every day and will be doing so all summer, not really available from 9:00 to 18:00. Or how does this work? I mean i could work part time no problems its just i cant find anything atm. And yes... i did not apply for a grant nor student financial assistance because i had it good back in September/October :( . I don't think you can apply this late for any help from college.

Or maybe you guys could suggest something. I'm out of ideas

You aren't eligible for Jobseeker's Allowance or Benefit if you're in college.

Your college should have a hardship fund but it wouldn't be much, prob a few hundred euros for each case max.....
