I'd also like to hear any views on the Tailor's Hall! Especially if anyone has any pictures of the interior - can't seem to find any online.
Did it work out expensive (compared to a hotel, say) to hire caterers etc?

I know this is very old but I am wondering the same thing as the posters above. Has anyone hired this venue? Is it true you can bring your own drink? Do they provide food? ANy info would be great.

Some photographs here. It seems to be owned by An Taisce, or at least it's their headquarters according to that link. It looks gorgeous from the back on the lane where the once great Mother Redcaps Tavern was until it closed down in 2005.

Oh update would be very much appreciated! Could you answer these questions now please?

Is it true they have have no license so you stock the bar yourself? This would make me very happy. Is it expensive to hire? I want one of the smaller rooms for a smallish party.

You can tell them what you want in terms of bar and they will stock whatever you want.

There is a minimum charge for room hire of 2000E, but I think that includes staffing. I will check our contract in a bit :)

nice place but you wont get very loud music as they insist on using the installed system which is limited due to enviromental noise issues. Ive played there a couple of times and was constantly being asked to turn it up!
