Am I missing something or were there no incentives at all for people setting up businesses? Previously, one had to be on the dole for two years before they were entitled to the 'Back to Work Enterprise Allowance (Self Employed)'. Am I missing something or were there no incentives at all for people setting up businesses?
Previously, one had to be on the dole for two years before they were entitled to the 'Back to Work Enterprise Allowance (Self Employed)'.
There was a lot of talk to reducing this to six months before the budget. As far as I know, this wasn't changed.

Was there anything to encourage new job creation at all????

From experience, you'll get nowt assistance unless you're creating remarkable employment or exporting.
