I use the tama tension watch works pretty good once you use it properly

Something you already know im sure but every drummer you ever meet will tell you he is well able to tune his drum kit and about 1% of these can actualy pull it off properly anything that reduces human error is a good thing

I've been told they're pretty decent for recreating a tuning you like, rather than a tool for the uninitiated to tune drums by.

got one - only use it to get me in the ball park - then fine tune by ear -
its not a fine tuning device , but it will show you if you are way out on one or two lugs and cant figure out why - so it is useful .

That's what I'm thinking ..... if you have to change a head mid session....

Hi Paul, I bought a drumadial recently. They are excellent for getting a new skin once stretched into a ball park area. It won't be perfect but from there it's easy to fine tune to key of song etc. It's a lifesaver during a session especially when the drummer doesn't have a clue. I highly recommend it

You could get a pack of triggers from that shop while you have the credit card out. $40 for 5, handy I reckon.

It'll probably end up like the drum torc of old. Unused...
