Lucky buggers who had that bet

Dont think Man U will win them all somehow.

Great result for Everton tonight, Man U look ragged at the back, If I was a Man U fan I would be seriously worried. Wouldn't be surprised [cough] if Liverpool won the league.

They could regret that after the Porto game.

    Why do bookies do this?

    No they won't.

Pure and simple, it's a very cheap way of advertising. If they do have to payout, the figure will pale in comparison to the type of money they would have to spend to get a similar level of advertising.

Somone with a few grand to spare (not many left I know!) could make a killing next season if they carry on with these cheap stunts.

Exactly.....Plus for those that did do the bet will collect the few bob and have a few more bets which will more than likely end up in Paddy's pocket anyway. Win Win for the bookie.

Just in time for people to dump it all back into bets on the Masters.
They know whatever they lose on this they'll make back over and over through the good press and the money now being in people's accounts during the season rather than them getting it when the football season is over.

Very strange considering the odds you would have gotten on this pre-season. But I suppose as my grandad would say - the bookies are the ones in the nice cars!

At the start of 2009 you could have got 80/1 for Man U to win the quadruple.

PP are genius's when it comes to the marketing side of things, which is why they're a big successful bookies, despite consistently offering worse odds then others.

    Put €50 on @ 3/1 before Liverpool(when 5pts ahead) bottled it.
    Paid out last month
