I thought they wanted to save jobs/ lower living costs?

    How stupid can you get!

Almost every company in the country needs transport to ship and import and they go and up there costs, when they are letting go workers everyday, what idiots.5c per litre might not seem alot, but for some companies it can mean staff been let go.

    I cant understand it.

And it will be passed onto the consumer via the shops, great policy there.

It's a joke alright, petrol will go up now and I say it won't be long till ESB, gas and public transport prices go up too.

It's doubly stupid as during the last budget (when petrol was increased by 8 cent) they deliberately DIDN'T increase diesel, citing those exact reasons.
