Hello all; I'm getting married quite shortly, June 2nd in fact..

I am planning on purchasing a nice suit for the event in question - not a tux as it isn't that formal.. (having a ska band, frankenstein and bride on the cake, reggae dj afterwards etc)

I only own one fairly crap suit as it is & I'm looing for suggestions on where the best quality/price suits there are - I don't want to spend a ton because I would prefer to use the money saved on my honemoon in japan.. that being said I don't want to be cheap either..

I'm only 5.9/5.10 stocky build, bit over weight, but not much (if that affects which shop best to go for, I wasn't sure what info to include)..

I'm going to be going for a dark suit, and some nice fancy shoes - shoes I can always get wherever, the suit is the main thing for now; so suggestions and information are welcome!

    cheers

    Congrats on the wedding :)

One option would be looking into hiring a suit from Black Tie or the like.

But if you are really keen on buying but want it to be casual I would strongly consider checking out Massimo Dutti in Dundrum nice stuff sister of Zara etc. That said Zara too could get trousers and jacket and nice shirt or even M&S or Arnotts.

If your budget is larger then that then I would suggest heading into a Louis Copland store, great suits and they know their stuff. Pricey enough tho but I guess there are sales on atm.

Best of lluck, enjoy the big day :D
