It may have something to do with the price increase its gone up to €75 from today so they may be upgrading the site to facilitate the price change.

I booked mine on Sunday and it was fine, I got it for €38 :).. I just checked it now and it requires me to sign in too, so it's not you ;)

Tip; get a paper application and send it in with 38euro, sign and date it as being the 6/4/09! :D

I had this problem just now, is it still the same for everyone else?

Same for me here, great, looks like they're trying to build up another 6 month backlog

Guess the best option for us is to do it by post so seeing as this has been a problem for over a week now.

Im so pissed off because I was sitting down to do it the night before the price went up and the site went down but a text or a doorbell or something distracted me and I said Id leave it until the next day.

Its not a problem at all, basically when it asks you to sign in, enter your driver number, name and date of birth as it appears on you learner permit, you then go to the next page where youi fill it out as before

It won't let them go to the next page, that's the problem.

Still the same problem. Has anyone contacted them to see what's up?

Its odd, i passed my test last week but i can sign in with my driver number and name if i want, so i could book a test in another cat or whatever if i wanted!

Make sure you enter your details exactly as they appear on your license.

I was putting my first name down as "James", it was saying record not found. When I looked at my license I realized my second name was there too, threw that (as in "James Patrick") in and it worked.

Worked fine applying online here. I was considering posting a backdated form, and blaming An Post for the delay (two state bodies with the one stone :D), but 10 days is a fair delay.

Also, my 6 months of a wait is up on 12/6. I put down that I was unavailable from 1/6 to 12/6, but I'd hardly get a date before June, would I? Most current waiting times for Limerick are 10 weeks, and it's only 6 weeks to June :o
