Test in Raheny tomorrow

I've my test in Raheny tomorrow afternoon, just wondering if anyone has done their test their what are the common routes and what should I be extra vigilant for?

I've been driving round the area for a while and I've encountered a problem regarding parked cars. Would I be right to hold back and let traffic pass before indicating out and maintaining my course (for instance up by the hill, and by the Garda station etc.).

Where would they be likely to conduct the Turnabout in the road and the reversing manoeuvre? - and do they often take tests up via the hill opposite the Station House?

Only been driving since Saturday after many arguments backwards & forwards between myself and the insurance company. So I'm a little rusty, but picking it up again - it's my second test (got a cancellation). Here's hoping I don't fail miserably :o

Yes, they go up past the station house and yes to the highlighted above.

Turnabout will be in Harmonstown or Edenmore (both wide roads and handy enough, youll get it in 3). The reverse around a corner looks to be the trickiest part with one of the places having little or no curb, just take it slow, keep looking around and you'll be fine.

    Good luck

Wasn't brought a conventional way - took a left at All Saints park, left again and immediate right and straight into the reversing manoeuvre. Did my hand signals here before taking a left and continuing up the road taking a right at the mini-roundabout and a left onto the Howth Road.

Continued up Howth Road and took a left at the lights and continued up Sybil Hill. Took the first left, next right and another left into a small road for the Turnabout. Completed Turnabout and took a left, another left, and a right. Took a right at the 2nd set of a lights, and another right which brought be down by the Rose Gardens at St. Annes. Left onto Coast Road and left into Raheny where I pulled over for the Hill Start. After that it was 1st exit at roundabout and 2nd exit at 2nd roundabout before finishing the test.

Lots of parked cars about the place and children on the roads, but I managed to Pass with a clean sheet :D
