was watching a show on tv there last week. some interiors thing.

anyway they had taken some photos belonging to the person who was getting their house done, and had them blown up to a large size canvas type print that hung on the wall like a picture.

anyone know if there is somewhere this can be done in Galway?

Don't know about Galway. You can order them done online - Photobox or Aldi for example.

Are you specifically looking for canvas? There are many companies that will print very large prints but onto paper or vinal.

This place was mentioned in the retro gaming forum http://www.signcentre.ie/

Do a search on Ebay as well I've heard prices of £30 for 6ft banners.

I got one done on www.updone.com for the house, its approx. 36" x 24" and cost about €100 including getting stung for customs duty. Highly recommend them, great quality. Think there's a guy on the photography forum in Dublin who does them too, supposed to be v good quality. Search that forum, there are several threads on it.
