My dog died today and he was only 10 years old. Don't know why i'm posting here i suppose it hasn't really sunk in yet.
Should i buy a new kitten or is it too soon?

Thought you said is was your dog :S

Anyways you should get a dog instead, after our 17 year old cat died, we got a dog and never regretted it, they're much funner!

His dog died, he wants to know should he get a cat. OP i'm sorry for the loss of your beloved pet, you clearly are upset. Cats are not as affetionate as dogs, but if you are busy with other commitments and have no time to toilet train and walk a dog then get the kitten. Maybe leave it a week just to organise your house for it and of course for you to think do you want another pet so quick. Some people need a pet at all times and maybe you are the same as me and them:)
