A friend was asking my opinion on one of these recently.
i have had no experience at all with them.
just looking on carzone and "Deluxe" model seems to be the one to go for (half leather, climate control, M/F/S/W., alloys)
could anyone share any experience good or bad.

    Thanks

Same car as a Kia Ceed basically. Really good reviews. Would have no hesitation buying one

Only the Kia has the 7 year manufacturer warrenty I believe...

I had a Ceed as a rental over the UK few months back. The 1.6D was a nice machine.

Difficult choice alright - pick the cheapest :)

They are a nice car, have driven one on relatively long distances (70 miles) a few times. The major gripe would be with the bargain basement petrol engine - not very good for overtaking. Assuming they're going for a diesel engined car, they shouldn't have too many gripes. They are fairly comfortable and have decent space inside.

On a maintenance side, they don't seem to be suffering from any major malfunctions or recalls yet.

Agree about the engine but didn't expect much more from a 1.4 I'd imagine the 1.6d would be better allright.
The black one looks nice probably prefer silver myself :)

I'd be going for the Cee'd anyway. Much nicer looking car IMO and the estate isn't a bad looking car either.

i think the Ceed estate belongs in another thread:
    http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055532943.

i keep coming back to the i30 thou.
This is a particularly nice one http://www.carzone.ie/search/Hyundai/i30/dsl-spor/200837189939719/advert.
    bit pricey IMO.
