    Hi All
i wonder if you can help
i am looking to knock down a load bearing wall, the house is over 100 years old so i think i will need an rsj.

a company from cobh was due to call this morning, anyway to cut a long story short they didnt show, i phoned and he said he had forgotten all about me...i only spoke to him on saturday anyway i told him not to bother calling now!

can anyone else refer a construction company and an approx price on what i would be looking to spend? i am in the fermoy, cork area.

the man from cobh quoted 2,500euro without seeing the job

    thanks

its a pity u did not bother giving more detail such as

    span involved
is there access to get a beam into the house and into position
    what it is supporting
    wall construction/width height etc.
if this was provided you have a better chance of getting an answer
