iPod repair

Hi, The button on the front of my iPod touch has stopped working, I think it should be a fairly simple repair but my iPod is out of warantee so I have to get it fixed by an independent. I have heard that one repairer in the Dublin area is quite dodgy but the person who told me that didn't know the name! If anyone has had there iPod repaired and found the service good I'd be much obliged.

I don't know if resetting your ipod would fix it but here is a link to quickly find out if your iPod has a hardware problem, it might help? look also at the bottom of the page for more ipod checks

Boards to the rescue once again. I was about to send my ipod to these plonkers and pay twice as much. The fact that the ipod-rescue are in Galway suits me down to the ground as well.
