i am a very stupid person and last night i forgot to put the cap back on when i was filling up the car.
it rolled off and a car rolled over it and it was broken up into thousands of little pieces. so does anyone know how dangerous it is to drive without one? just while im in the process of getting a new cap sorted out? the tank is only about half full. thanks!

Go to any petrol station (pretty much), or motor factors and ask for a temp petrol cap. Probably around a fiver.
