We'll scene as there is a HHH bashing thread, a lot of people (myself included) also like to bash John Cena. Without further ado let the bashing begin.

tbh im not annoyed at SuperCena atm although if they were going to have HHH beat Orton i woulda liked Cena to not win mostly due to wanting to see something new in the WWE and having bothe Cena and HHH as champs that is not.

Its not like Cena hasnt been jobbing to people recently, plus im surprised nobody mentioned how his becoming champ is timed perfectley for the release of his movie.

Cena bashing isn't as frequent, as in it doesn't happen on a week to basis.
I will allow this one but the second it gets out of hand, it's gone.

When you say out of hand do yuo mean people arguing or just bashing to a scary level?

But the minute it gets personal, or goes around in circles over something not many people can prove, etc. (ie - Cena slept with Kelly Kelly last week, etc)

He spent the majority of 2008 jobbing unlike some. He also is a merchandise selling machine who is young and a good role model for kids so I question Cena bashing these days, but heh if people want to live in 2006 who I am I to begrudge them:cool:

I remember the last time I went to a WWE show in the Point and there was this guy in his mid twenties, who got disturbingly wound up and agitated when Cena came out. He got so annoyed he jumped up on his seat and started screaming abuse at the top of his voice like one of those Tourettes people. And as he jumped up his trousers fell down pretty much so far that his whole pasty arse was on show. Worst thing was he was so engrossed in his hate that he didn't realise for 3 or 4 minutes that the whole of Block G could see every pimple on his ample behind. There were children there who are proably stil mentally scarred by the sight.

The reason I recount this charming ditty is that basically that image of that big bloated, overfed posterior, hanging forgotten by its owner in ful view of 3,000 people has become to me the symbol of Cena hatred. Every time I open this thread I'll think of that guy and wonder does he have an account on boards.:D

Cena haters would have much less hassle bashing him if they didn't need to resort to gay jokes every time they mention him. it makes you look like you're eight years of age.


Anyway,


Cena's not so bad. I don't have any problem with Cena simply because I know that at the end of the day he's just doing what he needs to do to take care of himself financially. If Vince turned to me and said "Hey Shane, how would you like to make a couple of gay jokes and we'll pay you a fortune" you'd best believe i'd be making those jokes before Vince even finished hi ssentence.


People like Triple H annoy me, because he pretty much controls everything his character does. No one tells him what to do. Cena, on the other hand, has to remain in the good books. Sure, there's not much chance that they'll ever just sack him, but after being in the main event for so long, I doubt he wants to go back to a Stevie Richards wage.

I don't hate John Cena, i'm just sick of him being treated as Hulk Hogan for the present day.

Just like I got sick of Hogan being the kiddy interest machine in 1990.
To me, one is as bad as the other.

I don't hate Cena as much as I once did, although I do hate him now.

I liked him when he was doing his rapper gimick. He just makes my blood boil every time I see him. I hate people like him and Batista. Thye have no technical ability yet WWE think there GOD's gift to earth.

thats not really cenas fault though and now that he isnt always the champ (even if he is now) and winning I think people are seing that hense he doesent get HHH heat (adapted from X-Pac heat:p)

Hmm, the technical ability jibe could be aimed at half the roster. Its just the way they book matches on tv, make them fast so we can have more ads.

The thing i hate about cena when he wears his stupid denim shorts. Denim shorts frustrate me. Dunno why.

2007 summerslam match with Orton
2007 Mania and Raw match against HBK
His Rumble match with Umanga
His match against Lashley where he done the impossible, he got a four star match out of the black Goldberg
His earlier work is good as well, most notably his I QUIT match against JBL and i loved his brief feud with the deadman...

Since when was his finisher called the "attitude adjustment"? I thought it was called the FU? It's a pretty ironic change given the company's switch to PG programming since the attitude era ended.

You got me there, but i hadn't watched Raw in a while before two weeks ago, so i lost track. Unless it got renamed to make it more TV-PG friendly.

I've renamed this to a multifunction thread. Probably not what you wanted OrtonViper, but fact of the matter is, HHH is more hated than Cena and therefore he warrants a hatred thread. This thread has more people defending Cena, and your idea of a bashing thread was a fail, sorry.

So it's an all purpose thread, anything goes except personal abuse.

I was joking to be honest few wrestlers split opinions such as Hunter and Cena so I doubt their would be much energy for a seperate thread bashing anybody else.
