Exceeding the Allowed 2 Week Holiday Allowance a Year?

    Hi guys

Just wondering what would happen with a claim if a person on jobseekers allowance who had already used up one week of there holiday allowance, were to be out of the country for another two weeks later in the year, therefore exceeding the allowance by a week.

Would they just not get paid for the third week, or would they be disqualified for a certain number of weeks or cut-off altogether?

    Thanks

I was told I'd just get the two weeks holiday payment once I do finally get back from my longer than two week holiday and get nothing for the other weeks. Just have to sign on as usual again once you get back. I wasn't told of their being any other penalties, but I can't confirm that yet.

    Thanks for the confirmation.

Ive found this document since i first posted and it seems to go in line with what your saying.

So It must just be the payments for the exceeding amount of weeks you wont receive and not any further problems.

    Thanks again
