Webcam Audio Question....

I just bought a Logitech Quick Cam 3500.

I want to record a short DJ set - I have the audio from my mixer going into the Line In on my sound card - so the audio plays from my pc speaker system.

I tried to record a video last night but it takes the audio from the webcam's crappy microphone. I want to disable this and sue the feed from the line in on the soundcard.

Any suggestions on how I could do this?
    Thanks

If you're using XP, you could go into "Sounds and Audio Devices" in the control panel... go to the 'Audio' tab and set your default recording device to your soundcard, then check "use only default devices".
Not sure how well applications obey this stuff, but it's worth a shot.
Otherwise there might be something you can temporarily disable in the device manager.
