How long do you have to collect dole from post office

    If a persons collection date is a friday, how long does a person have
    to collect their payment from the post office. I have heard before that
    the payment can be collected up to the tuesday, can someone confirm this.

    payments are ready on a wednesday, you have until the friday to collect

    Yes but this posters payment comes on a friday.... surely they would have 3 days to collect.

    Not everyones payment is given to them on the same day (i.e wednesday)

    you have 3 days - that is - you need to collect it on the 3rd day. if you don't it gets ''suspended'' until you go in to the office and explain, then they just add it to the following week's payment.
