Hi. I have a lot of money currently in BOI shares. Reading an artical in today paper biffo has said "some big strategic decisions regarding the banking sector or on there way" this was posted on the FF website yesterday. What impact will this have on the share price. I know people can only surmise due to the current situation but opinions please

    Regards,
    S

    hello smcgie

you asked on here about buying at 12 cent. if you bought anytime from then till early last week you are in profit. I suggest take some /all of it. they may rise post budget or they may not. profit today is bankable.

I feel sure they will be worth more next year, but who knows, maybe things are going to fall apart utterly

I am a novice at this but if I take out what I put in today at least I won't loose anything. If I reinvest the money in stocks will I still have to pay CGT? Thanks
