Segway Centaur - a proper electric vehicle?

I'd definitely buy one of these if they bring it to market. Would be savage for the commute to work! It's a rear wheel drive Segway Quad you ride by moving your body from left to right, front to back, and it'll wheelie all day long using the balancing tech in a normal Segway. Plus, it'll do a zero radius turn too.

I can only imagine the look on the poor VRO officer's face when it comes time to register this one :

Nothing to keep the rain off though. Nice idea wouldn't work here, they be hogging all the bus lanes. :p

Damn cool, and could be fun.

Mind you - tax, insurance, cost of running all might put a damper on it, never mind the rain.

Oh, I dunno, the rain could add to the RWD fun :D

But for people who cycle, or motorbike it to work, this could be a really interesting vehicle. Or for the timid car driver too afraid to go on 2 wheels, but wants to cut down on commuting time.

Either which way, it's only a prototype :(
