Just got a link from a support service for debugging a USB device for windows... it's pretty deep, but handy to know what's going on here!

    http://oreilly.com/pub/h/3105

It helps spot devices still assigned to ports that might interfere with current devices attached.

There's also a hot fix for USB voltage changes that ISN'T in any SP update - if you have erratic performance with a USB device in windows then go check / get - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c2ab5a48-8240-4934-bbd8-34fb8a0fce3b&displaylang=en

I know a few people that have had problems with USB soundcards - especially with laptops - this works a treat... If you have problems with getting the fix, pm me.

Yes, no problems with Macintosh - none at all *KERNAL PANIC* - oh, and the exploding iPod batteries ;)

My love of macs was ruined that day they had to patch the calculator on an older OS as it wouldn't add up correctly ;) - they tried to keep it quiet ;)
