I want to book a flight to the US, but i only have a 3v card and the aib maestro/laser.

Typical 3v is no use and i doubt the aib card is any use for buying from there site.

So what prepaid card can i get and talk me through the process cos im new to this.

    A little bit of digging.....

    Your payment
A credit/debit card is required to make a booking through the Aer Lingus website. We currently accept Access, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Universal Air Travel Card, Laser, Solo, Switch and Delta cards. Your method of payment will be charged when you click the "Purchase Flights" button on the "Purchase" page. At that time, your billing address is verified and your tickets are issued. You also have a delivery address option whereby tickets may be sent to an address other than the card holder's address.

3v is a Visa card so should work too

My flight will cost 700 euro so 3v is useless cos of the 350e limit

Sorry, it wasn't clear from your original post what the problem was with using 3V. As above user says, they'll also accept Laser.

Sorry for the bump. Any idea why mine is failing to go through? Put the ccv2 as ccv and everything...
