Cancelled driving test

Hi there, I got a date for my driving test in Feb. Typically Murphys Law it was the one day I was out of the country with work so had to postpone it. I sent them an email to cancel it, within the correct time frame, and they replied by post saying it had been cancelled.

My question is, how long will I have to wait for another test? I thought because I did everything correctly and gave them three weeks notification of cancellation that I'd get another one fairly quickly. I cancelled it well over 6/7 weeks ago now and haven't heard anything.

    Anyone have any idea?

Instead of just cancelling, you should have rang them up and ask them had they got another date for you.
Often they could look up an vailable slot then and there and book you into it.
Ring them up and ask t hem have they got anything in whatever month suits you.
