Undertaker and Tapping out..

A piece of commentary took my attention last night. Someone said (possibly Lawler, not fully sure) that the Undertaker has never tapped out in WWE. Was just wondering if anyone could confirm this for me.


When it was said i instantly shot it down in my head (considering the quality of the commentary last night, i assumed this was made up on the spot). However, when i thought back, i actualy can't think of any time when he did tap out, or any opponent who may have made him tap out. Lesnar sprung to mind, but I don't think he did it. Pretty certain angle never made him tap either.


Is undertaker really able to say he never tapped out? :eek:

Kurt angle made taker tap out in 2002 - iirc it was declared a draw on the technicality that angles back was down for a 3 count during the tapout

someone told me yesterday that bret hart made taker tapout to a sharpshooter in the early 90s but cant find any record of it

Pft, the commentary was a clusterf*ck last night! Jim Ross saying he'd never seen this match before (Hardy v Hardy) when he called one eight years ago!

more or less certain bret didnt. undertaker broke the sharpshooter by more or less launching bret over the top rope. still i've never seen taker tap

Well as i mentioned in the Mania thread, taker has tapped plenty of times as a heel but it was always when the ref has been knocked out etc... So no, he has never lost a match by submission:)
