    Interesting that Ireland and France are first for the number of won games and points in the tournament.

    Those stats are not surprising, if we had beaten the French in 2004 and 2006 we would have 3 Grand Slams in the last 10 yrs. We have had a lot of close calls until 2009.

    Yes that's true, even the "for" and "against" are very closed.

    but we did'nt win 3 slams did we?We won one. Teams have had great runs for many years before like Mayo in the 1990's at GAA but at the end of the day they were not good enough.This year was the first time I can say hand on heart that I think we were the best tem in the 6 nations.
