Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm heading to Belfast in the next week or so.

Can anyone give me the names/locations of Off Licences where i can get a good selection of (belgium) beers.

I have Orval / Kwack / Duvel in mind, but i would be looking for other good beers as well.

i have no interest in Heineken, Bud etc etc

The Vine Yard is the best beer specialty Off Licenses in Belfast, they do a good range of beers especially the Sam smith one you don't get down here

Although Redmonds of Ranelagh all ways has Orval, Duvel and Kwack on and off

    Here is their site

Gapwines is the other famous Belfast off licence. Some great beers in amongst a terrifying selection of crap lager from the four corners of the earth.

Sainsburys have many decent beers too; I picked up some Harviestons 'Haggis Hunter', some Brewdog Paradox islay, Meantime and other stuff I forget now. I was at the one opposite IKEA, different ones seem to have different stock.

    Thanks for the info lads.

i have no trouble getting a broad selection of beers, i just want to get some up north at a good price. I was thinking of buying a 2 to 4 cases of beer.

I was in the Sainsbury near IKEA, i wasn't too impressed with their range... dont get me wrong, they did have some good beers, they just didnt have what i was looking for.
Hence i am now searching for a specialist offie

i banged off emails to both of those off licences, but i've not gotten any replies.

Are there any other suggestions for a quality off licence where i can get orval and kwak.

I'm not surprised. Beer in Ireland and the Internet tend not to mix. Phone them if you really want an answer.
