    My laptop sounds like concorde.

Does that mean that the hard drive is dying?

It could be a number of things.

Full of dust and needs to be cleaned.

Its running some application all the time. Maybe a virus, or a anti virus scan.

The sensor that measures temp on the motherboard or fan has failed and it thinks its too hot all the time.

The HD would be unlikely but not impossible.

Well it sounds like this all the time...how would I go about cleaning it?

The noise is probably because of a fan which is slightly off centre (a build up of dirt on one of the blades could cause this) or everything is running too hot and the fans are going full speed all the time (build up of dust, not enough air flow).

You'd want to take off the bottom cover of the laptop and use either compressed air or a hover with a brush attachment to clear away the dust.

If you don't want to open the laptop, you could try use a hover with brush attachment and run it over the air vents on the laptop, poking the bristles of the brush into the vent holes to try and clear some of the dust. (or blow some compressed air in).
