Hi guys, long time reader first time writer! I'm so paniced about my CSPE exam for the JC this summer, I just feel I can'tdo myself justice on it. Got my mock results and was straight A's except in CSPE.

Anyone have any last minute reading material I could use or offering CSPE grinds!? God it's so unfair they put something this hard on the junior  Seriously, we're not getting our masters, wtf is this!? Any help appreciated.

    shOUT

Do you have a CSPE book? You're not really expected to know much for the exam, it's mostly just answering questions on short written pieces, so if you're good at English that should be grand. A book should contain any information regarding the judifcial system etc., that you need to know.

Didn't they re-name that as sphe after the 2006 JC?
as far as i remember; just know the main political names for our country, and your project (they still do that? )
All i had to remember was exactly that and managed an A.
Try not to panic. Its a joke of a subject anyways. Be grateful you're doing so well in all your other subjects as they're more important in both your leaving cert choice and future.

SPHE is a different subject - Social, Personal and Health Education, which isn't examined.
(CSPE is Civic, Social and Political Education)

But yeah, definitely don't worry about CSPE - I got a B in it and it did me no harm in my LC. : p

It's not even a real subject - seriously, don't worry about it.

Also, LMFAO. "not doing our masters". You've a lot to learn

This thread is clearly a piss take but I'm going to move it to the JC forum.

EDIT: Just noticed the poster was banned, probably from acting up on other forums. Thread locked so.
