I'm in the market for a 4X$, Trooper/Pajero/Landcruiser etc, has to SWB and commercial, and no older than '00, been looking at carzone etc, and a lot of them seem really overpriced, just wondering if anyone knows of any good sites/auction houses etc.

go to buying a 03-06 tayota lamdcruiser, post ,its, on the same page as this one, you should get a new shape landcruiser for around the 10k mark, that other post will give you a good idea of what to look for

Kinda had a budget of 6k or so in mind, maybe slightly more If i saw something exceptional, 10 seems a bit much, cos its not gonna have an easy life!

trooper would be very much my 3rd choice, to be honest 00+ SWB commercial Pajero would be my 1st choice

you would get a 00 - 02 old shape landcruiser for that money, and a good clean one at that, the old shape landcruiser was the best of them, new ones are a bit soft

Best off going to the UK. 4X4s are way overpriced here.

I've had a look around and test driven a few, and I've decided my No1 choice is a 3.2L SWB Pajero, only problem is they're few and far between and I think a 2.5l would be a bit underpowered for towing etc.
Anyone know of any cheap ones? They don't seem to be any cheaper up north either.

Not many people went for SWB 3.2's because the guys buying the SWB were usually watching the pennies. I know of a '04 with 80K up on it for €11,000.
