so sylar took claires power, so you'd expect them to have the same power correct? Id say yes.

Beginning of season 3, claire express's how she cant feel anything anymore. She cuts herself and she cant feel any pain. She has done this a few times.

But when sylar was with his father and he was making that rabbit he cut himself and he jumped up in pain.

That may be but Claire has had the power a lot longer than him so perhaps that is to come. Then again, he said there is something different about Claire and its not just her ability to heal (catalyst) so maybe her numbness is something else.

Or maybe its just a mistake, it is a TV show after all.

Pretty sure Claire's numbness to pain came as a direct result of Sylar ****ing with her brain..... Also, he's copied her power but it's not the same (just like when Peter got her power). i.e. Sylar's blood couldn't cure other people.... (And nor could Peter's when he had that power).

Claire has said before that she still feels pain like any normal person would but she just heals really quickly (can't remember the episode).* Sylar messing with her is what made her feel numb if I remember correctly.


*This doesn't really explain how she puts her hand in the garbage disposal and only scrunches up her face a little though.

sci fi shows generally have a lot of plot holes, an unfortunate side effect of making things up that arent real,

In "Turn And Face The Strange", Claire tells Nathan "I wondered about who my birth father was for years" or something like that....... She found out that she was adopted 6 months before she met Nathan (in "Six Months Ago")..... I know there's plot-holes a-plenty on the show but jesus, you'd think someone on set would have picked up on that.........
