This is one of my FordCars brochures..this is the earliest one i have,at least its a few pages from it.
The FordCars brochures were great as they have the entire range in the one brochure,with great pics and all the trim, paint and option specs.The one below is from one of the very first ones, they started in around March 76.
I have them covering most years up to around 1994,when i think they were made obsolete.They make great reading now!!Note too that this is pre fiesta times,the escort was the smallest car in the range. The base Escort had 12" wheels with crossply tyres on the 1100,and no carpet just rubber matting in the passenger compartment and the boot.Funny to think that that same car nowadays could have a 200 bhp pinto trying to snap the halfshafts!!
