I'm thinking of picking up either a 17/17 DHB(.83"muzzle)

can someone please advise on the advantages of 54 action over 64 if any

i can see the safety is on shroud on 54 and seems to have internal bolt lugs or locking mechanism of some kind?as opposed i presume to bolt locking by means of handle on 64,am i correct?
importers dont seem to know much about dif models,features and so on
