plunge bras. tbh if the dress fits well enough, braless is a option i'm a DD and i go braless with these dresses.

We saw that dress yesterday, was tempted to buy it! how's the fit? I'm kind of small chested though :( lol

You could get one of those straps [dunno what they're called] they go around your tummy but still give you cups. Without the visibility! Alternatively I don't see anything wrong with wearing a pretty plunge bra underneath

It fits lovely, and would really suit you if you're small chested as the bust bit is quite flattening on my boobs, which is why I want to wear a bra, to have some sort of shape!

Stick on ones ... yep have used them, can get them in heatons for around a tenner, very handy for when your wearing items cut like your dress.

If you wanted you could buy one of them for the moment or a strapless one, wear it with the dress into a lingere dept & try on a few different ones until you find your best long term bra for the dress.

i've used the stick on ones from m&s. I had to use superglue to make the sides stick to me!

    Isn't that a bit dangerous...?

I've used the M&S stick on bras and they're pretty ok! They can get a bit irritating if you have sensitive skin and it says on the pack to only wear them for a certain number of hours i think. I used the extra strips they give you to help it stick better. I'm only an A cup mind you but I absolutely hate going braless.

The best stick on bras (no straps at all) is called Eve's Bra. It is expensive enough but well worth the money. I tried a few of the cheaper versions over the years and they were all useless. I've had the Eve's Bra for about two years now and it never lets me down. I bought it in Arnotts.

Another option for in the summer would be to wear it with a bikini top? Either padded halter neck or the string halterneck ones, I think it would work weel with that style of dress imo :)
    Just another thought.

you'd imagine so. I wore it for my sisters wedding, by the end of the day it was still falling off!

I hate those stick on bras, they just fall off me after a few hours!! And they don't actually give you much shape, they're literally cups stuck onto your boobs! there's no lifting or shaping going on!!
+ 1 for wearing a bikini with it!! Something I do a lot during the summer aswell is use a bra with removable straps that give me nice shape, take the straps off and use string bikini straps in place of the bra straps!! You can tie them halter or over the shoulder and it looks nice and summery and you still get the shape from the bra!

Another idea is to get a miracle frontless backless body from ultimo! Expensive enough but you wouldn't ever have to worry about going braless again!!

I'd wear a plunge bra with similar colour straps to the dress! I know the straps would be visible but it's the lesser of two evils compared to messing around with stick on things in my opinion!

I know this thread is a bit old, but I have that dress in purple and my boobs barely fit. I'm a size 12, with C/D cup boobs, and the bits in between my boobs have actually torn from merely breathing. I wear a strapless top under it now because it's a bit too revealing!

I bought this dress the other day and being a C cup, I can't really go bra-less, and regular bra's don't look nice under it - I hate visible bra straps!

Has anyone here used those "stick on" bras (have seen them in M+S)?

Or can you recommend any other sort of nifty bra?

Im a 34 d , for me a plunge bra , prettiest you can get. Any of the bigger stores will "support your needs":D love the dress.

Ohh i think i would wear a really pretty bra under the dress. The dress is fab by the way. Ok the shape of the dress makes it hard to hide any bra you wear under neath so if you went with a strapless or multi bra one it probably would still look obvious.

Check this bra out though, its very similar to your dress:

Its so cute! and you wouldn't care if someone seen the straps as much then compaired to an ordinary bra.

When it comes to tapes too, i'm not a big fan, i wore one two a wedding, and becasue i was wearing tan and after 2 hours of dancing it started to come away from the skin, but maybe you could try it out anyways as a test run on something else. im sure it works differently for different skin types
You can pick them up anywere but heres what it looks like:

    Hope you get sorted!!

I tend to go braless or wear a bicini top and am a size 34E, it is better than the alternative as I find the backing on the backless bras irritates my skin...if you are wearing one of these only wear it for a short time and wear it before hand to make sure that you are not allergic - they bring me up in hives.

I also get dresses that fit my chest - is akward as I am only a size 6 waist but it is possible.

    None..always a good option:D

I'd either go braless, or else get a plunge bra with one of the colours in the dress with thin pretty straps. Those stick-on yokes look really uncomfortable, and I can't imagine they'd do much for your boobs anyway!
